Alex Leads The Way

We are delighted to announce that Alex Fletcher is confirmed for the Bucks’ 2026/27 season.

Alex, who led the Bucks as captain for the majority of our first campaign back at Step 2, leads again as the first player to commit to a new deal at the club, as Kevin Wilkin bids to build on the promise of the 2025/26 season.

At 29 years old, Alex’s experience at Step 2 and above proved hugely valuable in midfield, and he also contributed several important goals as the Bucks achieved a top-half finish in the Enterprise National League North and enjoyed success in the Emirates FA Cup and Isuzu FA Trophy.

Alex’s leadership qualities and consistent displays were among the bedrocks of the Bucks’ achievements, and we are thrilled to have ‘Fletch’ back in the fold once more.
